The Best Ride Ever

Stumbling across the internet last night I found this amazing website + Cube-Creative. They hold many videos that are full rendered 3D shorts. Most of which are seen in 3D rides. Click the link and take a ride. Tell me what you think of it!

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Posted today Pride 2006, I received a video responce to my "Mambo Video". Now I know that it really isn't a Mambo, and I know we weren't really dancing part of the time, (it's funny how many comments about that there are), but this is the FIRST ever copy-cat team of two girls recreating, as best they could... or so they say, my video. It totally rocks.

Colbert on Gay Marriage.

I can't believe the stuff they get away on FOX news. Dan Henninger can go to hell. How can someone be so stupid?

Gigot: Winners and losers, picks and pans, "Hits and Misses." It's our way of calling attention to the best and the worst of the week. Item one, plenty of women may think they married a snake. This one actually did, Dan.

Henninger: Yeah. This is a footnote to our gay-marriage discussion. A woman in India last week married a snake. And it was done at a traditional Hindu ceremony attended by 2,000 people. Now, I would like to ask the proponents of gay marriage, which after all violates traditions going back through all of human history, to now absolutely positively guarantee that the next movement is not going to be allowing people to marry their pet horse, dog or cat. And you know what? Given the anything-goes culture we live in, I don't think they can deliver that guarantee.

Gigot: Send those cards and letters. All right, thanks, Dan. Next, a female golf phenom fails in her bid to play with the big boys. Jason?

WHAT IS GOING ON? Are they mad?

A quoi ça sert l’amour?

One of the happiest cartoons I've seen in a while.

A Changed World.

This was a little short David and I came up with while snacking at a shoppe in Lincoln Park. Hope it provides a laugh - Gotta watch the whole 4 minutes to understand it.

Naperville is old.

And it's getting older and fatter as the years go by. Naperville has turned 175. I wonder if John Napier is rolling around in his grave (which might be next to Catch 35 the newest dining establishment)... here's a little video I made of all the children present including my parents, and of course, yours truly.

Ending the Trip

It's been a rough weekend. Returning a day late from my 3 week long vacation, my plane's right engine stalls, thus a free night at a Holiday Inn in LA, and a morning flight. I get home an hour before my scheduled shift at the local Italian resturant, and the next day before working I have a wedding to go to. Sunday brunch goes off without any problems, but it puts me at Sunday night ready for sleep. The followiing pictures are from my adventure. 1. Seat from LA/NY Flight, 2. A Store front that is no longer there 3. My editing bay where I clocked in numerous hours.

Boston Macy's Removes Gay Mannequins

As of today the home of two gay mannequins in the Boston's Macy window display is gone. After a petition to remove the two men standing tall infront of a pride banner, the only thing left is the banner itself. Horrible. Here is my letter sent to the wonderful people of Macy's in Boston.

"I am disgusted with the actions taken by your company in regards to the most recent battles of your Boston location. What angers me is that upon petition, you removed the two obviously flaming gay mannequins. How can you legitimately do that without even thinking about the drawbacks of your actions? It is going to be a long time until I shop at Macy's again. I wonder where the drafted letter to the gay community is and why hasn't it been released?

I hope "MassResistance" is sleeping well, knowing they took the PRIDE out of the mannequins in the Boston Macy's window display.

You guys really are something.

Ian Sklarsky"

Happy 6.6.06 and Gay Pride!

I'm taking up the challenge that Kelly at Rambling Along in Life has posted. (http://kellystern.blogspot.com/2006/05/heres-challangecome-on-you-know-you.html)

For all ya'll out there, just giving props to my gays, and Hollywood for making 6.6.06 a day that is only about exploiting the remake of the Omen. Thank you for toning down the horrible predictions of the end of the world by the devil, and just making it another opening day for a crappy film.

Thanks.

Can't wait for pride!

Night of the Night of the Living Dead.

Remake Schmemake. I don't understand why people choose to remake movies sometimes. Night of the Living Dead was perfect the way that it was, why wreck a good thing?!

Spooked Much?

High on the hill was a lonely goatherd - lady -ole e - lady ole e - ley he who.
Hearing that song makes me sooo happy! But what is better than a wonderful Sound of Music Sing-a-long? Watching a bunch of goats getting so spooked that they faint! It's the best thing since sliced bread. Click the above link to watch these incredibly awesome mutant goats that fall!

The one thing I love more than a newscast gone wrong...

Join Miss Crawford as she continues on the downhill slump to depression and psychoticness with her lovely family! A must for all preteens who still use those aweful wire hangers.

The Slip Up.

If you haven't seen a bad news slip-up in a while - then watch the video link on top. Oh poor Cynthia Izaguirre, how can you mix up being a mountain climber with being... well see for yourself. One of the happiest times in life (I think) is watching newscasters just BOMB. Does Cynthia deserve her job after this? I'd let her back only if she interviewed a real gay mountain climber, who's blind.
