National Coming Out Day.

Rewind four years, Oct. 11, 2001, Location Bradley University. I walked around the streets of that campus and along the sidewalks, chalked into the ground, were names of those gays and lesbians that were out. As I walked to my class on that early morning, I vowed that someday, it would happen, my family would love me, my friends would talk to me, and normality would set in. Flash forward, four years. Tough times, sorrows and tears, drama and joy, I'm out without worry. Should I just say I'm me, but I do tip my hat to those just now changing. I must.
